Shipping to the USA:
We continue to issue a warning about shipping to the USA but we have shippped successfully in recent months so we hope that the challenges faced by the FDA and US Customs have now been resolved. The inability of the FDA and US Customs to be consistent in their requirements created many lengthy delays in importing smoked salmon into the USA since 2001.
However, we will ship to the USA but strictly at your risk. We will ensure that all documentation is as required by the Authorities as we understand it at the time of shipping, but we will not offer any refund whatsoever in case of delays or non-delivery.

Please note the following relating to UPS delivery arrangements:

1. There are no deliveries at weekends.

2. If no one is at home to receive delivery, then a card will be left requesting the recipient to contact their nearest office to arrange alternative arrangements. We regret that UPS won't leave packages "in the gararge" or "under the flowerpot".

3. Where possible we will advise recipients by e-mail at the time of shipment with the AWB Number.

4. We now have a tracking facility on our Delivery page.

5. Unless essential, we would advise against choosing a Monday as a delivery day, this avoiding a weekend stay in a warehouse somewhere! Outside Europe we would suggest Thursday/Friday delivery days.

6. Shipments to the USA are strictly at your risk.
